Our Commitment to the Environment
Scientific Storage Solutions has made it a personal challenge to operate with as little environmental impact as possible. We know that the local management and access of scientific goods reduces the energy and resources required to supply laboratories. In addition, we have made several conservation modifications to our facility, and employ a recycle and re-use policy of vendor supplied packing materials, reducing both waste and material costs. S³ is a proud member of the Snohomish County Planet Power program. This program supports the use of environmentally "green" (renewable) power, which is energy generated from resources that have the least impact on the environment. Green power includes wind, solar, landfill gas, geothermal, and biomass.
